The
builder阿
Designer-developer in Kolkata, running a personal studio under my own name. Computer Science Honours undergrad at RKMVCC Rahara (CGPA 8.7). Four years deep in visual design, two on the interface, shipping production frontends since late 2024 — the overlap is where the work happens.
I started as a designer who wanted to make things move. Four years on Photoshop and Illustrator turned into two years on Figma, which turned into shipping production frontends since late 2024 — at every step, the question was the same: how do I make this thing feel alive?
Today I run my own studio under my name from Kolkata, taking on landing pages, product UIs, and design systems for clients who want their interfaces to look considered and ship on time. Alongside the studio I run my own community — Magistics — for student builders shipping real work. CGPA 8.7 keeps the academic side honest; the studio keeps the craft sharp.
Outside client work I spend time on competitive programming, hackathons (1st Runner-Up at NIRMITI Code Quest, Top 10 at Aignite 2K25), and digital painting. The community side has been load-bearing for years — Hack4Bengal core team, GSSoC mentor, graphic designer at SWOC and Machine Learning Kolkata.
The path here
Pencil to Photoshop to Figma to code. Nineteen years of practice compressed into the moments that mattered.
Started drawing by hand as a kid. Margins of textbooks, the back of every notebook, sketches stuffed into folders. Fifteen years before any of it touched a screen.

Enrolled in Class 11 and met C for the first time. Variables, loops, the satisfying click when a problem compiled. I took it seriously, but had no real guidance or mentor to push further — the spark was there, the support wasn't.

Opened Photoshop for the first time. The pencil-to-tablet jump took months — the muscle memory of pressure and stroke didn't translate cleanly. Got there eventually.

Joined Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College for B.Sc. Computer Science Honours. The seriousness about coding had always been there — from this point I finally got the bare minimum guidance and mentorship I needed to actually move forward.
